The team you will work in consists of 14 (mostly experienced) colleagues. And the logistics team consists of 3 members including yourself.

The ROCKWOOL Group is the global market leader in stone wool solutions. They provide sustainable solutions for energy-efficient and fire-safe buildings, for industry, greenhouse horticulture, petrochemicals and shipbuilding. You will work in the Rockwool production hall at the Rockfon division. Rockfon makes ceiling tiles and wall panels from rock wool that can have a variety of characteristics and purposes. It is not only insulation, but also fire safety and acoustics that these panels can play a major role in within a location.

As a (jr) Logistics Foreman you are responsible for coordinating and supporting logistics activities in Rockwool's Rockfon department. Furthermore, part of your work will consist of maintaining the administrative part of the department and planning the lines. In this role you work in a 4-shift system and your duties include:

• Managing a team of 2 forklift drivers to ensure smooth operation of the logistics process.
• You are fulltime available.
• Collaborate/help out on the forklift yourself when it is busy. (heftruckchauffeur)Onregelmatigheidstoeslag
• Responsibility for inventory management of semi-finished and finished products, including accurate registration in SAP.
• Coordination with the production department regarding correction of auxiliary raw materials and trip planning for the upcoming team.
• Optimizing cooperation with the distribution department to ensure a smooth flow of goods.Maintain order and cleanliness in the workplace to maintain a safe and organized environment.
• Ordering and checking transport units via the digital platform Solve, to ensure that materials arrive on time and in good condition.
• Organize and support loading and unloading according to internal instructions and agreements.
• Preparing rides for the upcoming team, including proper documentation and material preparation.

• Able to work very accurately and precisely
• Fluent command of the Dutch, English or German language due to the safety rules.
• A valid forklift certificate
• At least one year of experience driving and working with a forklift
• Flexibility to work in a 4-shift system

• Salary in accordance with collective labor agreement between €16.20 and €18.49 per hour excluding shift allowance, depending on experience.
