Scientific information specialist Will you become our new colleague with an interest in the latest developments in the (digital) information world and would you like to develop into a Scientific Information Specialist in the field of medical and biomedical sciences? In this position, you will work from a team at the University Library (UB) mainly for staff and students of the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences (FHML) and the Maastricht University Medical Centre (MUMC+). In coordination with the faculty, you teach (digital) information skills to undergraduate and graduate students of the medical programmes. You are also active in providing support and advice on the acquisition and use of scientific information sources to lecturers, researchers and medical specialists at FHML, MUMC+ and the Maastricht Academy of Obstetrics (AVM). You will also supervise PhDs and other researchers in carrying out systematic literature reviews and provide training in this area. Based on your interests and experience, you can collaborate on innovative projects such as digital literacy, AI in education, Open Science in Education and AI in literature review.
