We are seeking a skilled and experienced Web Administrator for our clients team. The ideal candidate will manage and maintain their web servers and web applications, ensuring their smooth operation, security, and optimal performance. As a Web Administrator, you will configure and monitor web server software, manage databases and caches, and ensure web standards and protocol compliance. Additionally, you will work closely with their development teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions to enhance our web infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

2. Manage and troubleshoot web applications running on the servers, including PHP and Java frameworks.

3. Monitor server performance and capacity and implement scaling strategies as needed.

4. Manage databases and domains, ensuring data integrity and availability.

Ensure web standards and protocol compliance, including HTTP, SSL, DNS, and FTP.

7. Collaborate with development teams to deploy new applications and updates and troubleshoot issues.

8. Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.

9. Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies, trends, and best practices.

10. Assist with general IT support in our office, like setting up users and troubleshooting issues.

Key Skills:

1. Proficiency in configuring and managing web server software like Apache, Nginx, or Tomcat.

2. Deep knowledge in setting up and configuring load-balanced, high availability and scalable web servers with Nginx.

3. Expertise in setting up and maintaining performant, scalable MySQL databases clusters and replication

4. Expertise in setting up and maintaining performant, scalable Redis cache clusters and replication

5. Strong understanding of web application frameworks, such as PHP or Java.

6. Experience with managing web content, databases, and domains.

7. Deep knowledge of web technologies and protocols, including HTTP, SSL, DNS, and FTP.

8. Familiarity with web security best practices and techniques.

9. Experience in performance optimization of web servers and applications.

10. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

11. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

12. AWS SysOps skills, including experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and CloudWatch.

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 4+ years of experience in web administration or a related role.

- AWS SysOps Administrator certification preferred.
