In the research centers ("lectoraten") at Hotel Management School Maastricht, Global Minds@ Work, Future of Food and the special learning programme Data Driven Hospitality we are looking for a team member to assist the professors. Besides administrative tasks you will be our spider in the web in organising research and education related events and assist at research related activities in the Food Experience Lab.

What you'll do

Working closely with the professors of the research centers, you make sure the processes the "lecoraten" are involved in run smoothly. Whether you are planning meetings, organising events, facilitating experiments in the lab environment, hosting external guests and speakers, in short: arranging all the necessities for a smooth operation - you are the spider in the research centers web! You will coordinate and conduct tasks on an administrative and operational level. As a hands on management assistant you have good communication skills. You are digitally up to date (able to work with Microsoft and willing to learn new software tools, such as event software).

A position, due to maternity leave from January till August 2024, between 0.5 - 0.6 FTE depending on your availability, in a salary scale awarded depending on your qualifications and experience maximum at level 7, with a maximum of € 3.631,83 gross per month when appointed full-time.
To this is added holiday allowance (8%) and a fixed year-end bonus (8.3%), a generous number of holidays, professionalization and employability hours and a complete offer to work vitally and with pleasure.
